Categories of Membership

Stucco Manufacturer (Regular) Member: Regular Members  ($2,000) shall be those persons or firms manufacturing stucco products under their brand name, utilizing their plants and equipment for this purpose or depend on others for manufacturing service because they do not operate a plant. They may produce conventional stucco. Regular Members shall have voting rights, and may be officers and directors of the Association.

Stucco Supplier (Affiliate) Member: Affiliate Members  ($1,000.00) shall be those persons or firms who supply goods and services to the industry. Membership, voting, and other rights, interests and privileges of each member shall be equal. Affiliate Members shall have voting rights, and may be directors of the Association.

Contractor (L & P) Member:  Contractors are Associate Members  ($500) and shall be those persons or firms who are licensed lath and plastering contractors and who install products obtained from Regular or Affiliate Members. Membership, voting, and other rights, interests and privileges of each member shall be equal. Associate Members shall have voting rights, and may be directors of the Association. Lath & Plaster Committee Members receive full membership in the SMA and are able to attend all SMA meetings, help guide industry policies and will work with other industry professionals. L & P membership enables access to the SMA’s Silica Compliance Program for OSHA’s new silica exposure control requirements and SMA Contractor Certification.
